Machine tending
A robot arm loads and unloads a laser marker or CNC machine through the shift, so one operator supervises several machines instead of feeding one.
Batch polishing cell
Rings and bangles run through the same finishing path every time, with the operator loading trays and checking the results.
Inspection before packing
A camera station checks each piece against its job card and photographs any defect, so rejects are caught in the workshop, not by the customer.
Photography as pieces are finished
New pieces are photographed as they leave the workshop, so the catalogue and the online store keep up with the stock.
Daily stock count
Tagged stock is counted and matched to the books every day, and anything missing is reported before the store opens.
Overdue job follow-up
An agent lists overdue karigar jobs each morning, drafts WhatsApp reminders and escalates anything at risk for a supervisor to approve.
